KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Volleyball (9-8, 3-2 Summit) returns to the Swinney Center on Thursday, Oct. 15, to take on St. Thomas (4-10, 2-3 Summit) at 7 p.m. The matchup marks the beginning of a two-match homestand for the Roos, who will also welcome Omaha on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Kansas City enters Thursday's contest looking to return to the win column following a challenging road trip through the Dakotas. After opening Summit League play with three consecutive victories, the Roos suffered back-to-back four-set losses against South Dakota State and South Dakota.
Despite the recent setbacks, Kansas City has found success on its home court, where the Roos have compiled a 5-4 record this season. Thursday's matchup provides an opportunity to build on that home-court advantage as the first half of Summit League play approaches its conclusion.

The Tommies are coming off a victory and will look to carry that momentum into Kansas City. St. Thomas also enters the season as the defending Summit League Tournament champion, having claimed the conference tournament title in 2025.
Thursday's meeting presents an important opportunity for both programs as they look to strengthen their positions in the Summit League standings.
