- Kansas City dominated the glass, winning the battle of the boards by 13.
- In a game that saw 15 ties and 16 lead changes, neither team ever led by more than four points.
THE ROOS, QUOTED
Head Coach Jacie Hoyt
- "There's no quit in (this team). I'm super proud. Some of the things we've gone through the past couple of weeks, things that were out of our control, they keep showing up and they stick together. That's what this game was all about."
- "Every game, the only score we care about it the war on the rebounds. We're constantly giving them updates on that. Everyone wants to talk about defense winning games, but we say that rebounds win championships. That's that next level."
Paige Bradford
- "I had a lot of confidence because Coach put the ball in my hands (on her game-tying bucket in OT). I knew I had to fight for her to go get the bucket."

The Roos will look to finish their home stand with three wins as they host Western Illinois on Monday at 6 p.m.
