Men's Basketball Set to Host Pair of League Opponents

The Roos will play North Dakota State tomorrow and North Dakota on Saturday, both at 7 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball will host a weekend series against North Dakota State and North Dakota, looking to bounce back from their first back-to-back losses of league play.

- In five Summit League games, the Roos have held opponents under 65 points three times. Against all DI opponents, KC has notched six games where their opponent was held under the 65-point mark.
- The halftime buzzer has been a telltale sign for the Roos this season. They are 8-0 in games where they held the lead at half, and 0-8 in games that they trailed. After trailing at half in each of the last two games, the Roos battled back to take a second half lead, but could not hold on for the win.
- Anderson Kopp has been Kansas City's leading three-point shooter on the year, hitting 33 triples at a 41.3% clip. In games that he makes three-or-more threes, KC has a 4-3 record.
- Freshman Jack Chapman has led the Roos off the bench so far this season, notching 248 total minutes, which is good for sixth on the team. He is one of six players to have appeared in all 18 games so far this year.
- Kansas City has surrendered 20-plus free throw attempts to opponents in 10 games this season. The Roos hold a 2-8 record in such games. They are 6-0 in games that they hold opponents under 20 free throw attempts.
Last Time vs. NDSU
- The Roos dropped a close one to the Bison in the opening round of The Summit League conference tournament, with a final score of 65-69.
- In the regular season, KC and NDSU split the series. The Bison took the first game 71-67 and Kansas City locked in the second game with a 49-47 victory.
- At the conference tournament, Josiah Allick earned a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
- In the Roos' win over the Bison, Kansas City's defense shined bright, forcing 15 turnovers and converting those into 13 points. Arkel Lamar neared a double-double in the game with 11 points and nine rebounds.
