Kansas City attempted a comeback, but in the end the Coyotes prevailed.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Volleyball and South Dakota went to five sets for the fourth meeting in-a-row this afternoon, but in the end the Coyotes prevailed, 3-2 (25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 19-25, 15-9). Four Roos ended with double-digit kills, led by Melanie Brecka's 16.

KEY MOMENTS

S1 | With two consecutive kills from De'Janae Arnold at the start of the set, the Roos came out strong, 3-0.
S1 | Alli Schomers set up a perfect ball for a spike from Odyssey Warren and to bring the Roos within a point, 13-12.
S1 | A kill across the court from Schomers brought the Roos deficit to 17-15, but the Coyotes would end the set on an 8-5 run.
S2 | Arnold used three consecutive kills to put the Roos in front 4-1 to begin the second set.
S2 | Arnold and Schomers teamed up for a big block, keeping the Roos ahead 8-3.
