In her first year of playing at Oakdale High School, she earned 1st Team All-District while taking home the Most Valuable Player award.
Quick facts: Coached in high school by Jill Nagel at Rock Bridge High School … Played AAU for one of the top programs in the Midwest, Missouri Phenom and Coach Greg Logsdon … Daughter of Nikiea Posey and Chad St. Andre … Has one brother Kobe and one sister Setorie… Undecided in her major.
Why Kansas City?: I chose UMKC because it is close to home and family is very important to me. When I visited UMKC, I knew immediately this would be another family for me. Coach Hoyt and crew have taken me in as their own from day one. I look forward to showing my UMKC family what I am capable of and growing together.
Coach Hoyt on St. Andre: "Sanaa' is an awesome addition to our recruiting class. She fills a very crucial spot for us as a point guard. I believe her athleticism and motor will really elevate the level of play around her, and will be instrumental in our transition to the Summit League next season. She is one of those players that makes the game look easy because of her natural ability to make plays. Her speed will help us continue to play at the fast pace we want to play."
