Men's Tennis Wins Fourth Straight, 7-0 Over Bulldogs

(Kansas City, Mo.) - The UMKC men's tennis squad rolled past McPherson College 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Plaza Tennis Center, and in the process won its fourth straight dual.
UMKC (9-6) stormed out of the gates in doubles play, quickly taking a pair of 6-2 wins and a 6-1 victory to take the doubles point.
In singles play it was much of the same, as Mike Psarros got it started with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the No. 4 position, followed by Vinh Pham at No. 5 and Amaury Navette at the No. 6 position to clinch the victory.
UMKC played it out though, and took straight set wins at each of the other three spots to close out the action.
The Roos will begin WAC play this weekend in Las Cruces, N.M., facing Chicago State and Seattle.
