No. 41 Drake Knocks Off UMKC, 6-1

(Des Moines, Iowa) - The UMKC men's tennis team ran into a tough matchup on Friday afternoon, falling 6-1 at No. 41 Drake.
The Bulldogs took wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to take the doubles point, before taking the first four singles matches in straight sets at one through four. UMKC (3-2) gave DU some tough matches at No. 5 and 6, with both going three sets. The 'Roos got a victory at No. 6, winning a third set tiebreaker from Conner Edwards.
UMKC will face both Gonzaga and South Alabama tomorrow.
