UMKC Unveils New Kansas City Skyline Themed Court Thursday

(Kansas City, Mo.) - Municipal Auditorium now has another new look as UMKC unveiled a new basketball court on Thursday night, with a Kansas City skyline theme.
Two seasons ago, the 'Roos unveiled new video boards, lighting, and sound system to go with new seats in the lower bowl.
Single game and group tickets for UMKC men's and women's basketball are now on sale to the general public. Along with the ticket on-sale, the UMKC men's and women's basketball promotional schedule has been released.
Single game tickets for UMKC men's basketball games will range between $10 and $17 per game based upon seat location. Among the most highly anticipated games on the schedule this year include SEC foe Mississippi State and conference rival New Mexico State.
UMKC women's basketball single game tickets are $7 for all games. The women's schedule will feature matchups against conference rivals New Mexico State and Bakersfield.
Group tickets (10 or more) are also now available for men's and women's basketball that will include special ticket savings and group benefits to ensure the best game day experience.
The basketball promotional schedules are highlighted with special themes and exclusive giveaways for both men's and women's basketball games this year.
Current themes and giveaways for the men's basketball season include the following:
- Monday, November 9th – Free 2015-16 schedule magnet to all fans with a purchased ticket.
- Saturday, December 12th – Military Appreciation Day: Free UMKC Athletics Dog Tag Giveaway to first 1,000 fans with a purchased ticket.
- Saturday, December 19th – Free UMKC Athletics Santa Hat Giveaway to first 1,000 fans with a purchased ticket.
- Saturday, January 30th – Throwback Game
- Saturday, February 13th – KC Mascot Day: Free Kasey the Roo Themed T-shirt Giveaway to first 500 fans with a purchased ticket.
Current themes and giveaways for the women's basketball season include the following:
- Friday, November 6th – Free 2015-16 schedule magnet to all fans with a purchased ticket.
- Saturday, December 12th – Military Appreciation Day
- Saturday, December 19th – Free UMKC Athletics Santa Hat Giveaway
- Thursday, January 14th – Free UMKC Athletics/WAC Conference Themed T-shirt Giveaway to all fans with a purchased ticket.
- All home Thursday games will be 2-4-1 nights with tickets being priced two for one and select concession items available for discounted pricing.
