Wichita State Blanks 'Roos in Men's Tennis Action, 5-0

(Wichita, Kan.) - The Kansas City men's tennis squad ran into some tough competition on Monday at Wichita State, dropping a 5-0 contest to the Shockers.
UMKC (6-9) fell in its first two doubles contests at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, surrendering the point to WSU (11-6). The Shockers coasted in four of the singles matches, taking straight set wins at Nos. 6, 5, 1 and 4 in that order to seal the win.
The Kangaroos will head to Maryville for another non-league contest with Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
