Kangaroos Advance To Summit League Championship Match With 4-0 Win Over Oral Roberts

Fort Wayne, Ind. -- The UMKC men's tennis team advanced to The Summit League Championship match with a 4-0 win over Oral Roberts on Friday morning. The Kangaroos improve to 15-6 overall this season and await the winner of the IUPUI and Western Illinois match, being played this afternoon.
The duo of Abdul Alwadhi and Serge Ristivojevic took care of business at the No. 3 slot in doubles action, defeating Matthew Tansil and Matthew Prevost, 8-0. The `Roos earned the double point after Gustavo Guerin and Cameron Schoenhofer defeated Dmitry Suslov and Dario Beslic in a close one, 9-8 (8-6).
In singles action, Nino Hasandedic, Grant Fleming and Schoenhofer all won their respective matches.
The win over the Golden Eagles was the `Roos 13th straight victory.
The finals are set for tomorrow at 10 a.m.
