
UMKC Defeats Oral Roberts, 4-2; Ties School Record For Most Consecutive Wins

Kansas City, Mo. -- The UMKC men's tennis team won its 11 consecutive match of the season on Friday afternoon over Oral Roberts, 4-2. The Kangaroos win today tied the school record for most consecutive wins in a season, set by the 2010 `Roos. The `Roos improve to 13-6 overall and 5-0 in The Summit League.
The win over the Golden Eagles was also UMKC's 13th straight Summit League regular season victory. The `Roos haven't lost a regular season League match since April 9, 2009.
The Kangaroos close out the regular season on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Plaza Tennis Center against Oral Roberts.
