'Roos Fall On The Road At No. 44 Arkansas

Fayetteville, Ark. -- The UMKC men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 road decision to No. 44 Arkansas on Sunday afternoon at the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks claimed the doubles point and all six singles matches in straight sets on the day.
Arkansas opened the day by winning all three doubles matches to take the first point of the match. The tightest match came at the one line where UMKC's Patrick Smith and Bret Berryman dropped a hard fought 8-6 decision to No. 46 Christopher Nott and Dmitry Lebedev.
Berryman also played the closest singles match for the 'Roos. The Blue Springs, Mo., native battled Nott at the one line before dropping a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
UMKC (6-5) will return to action on March 27-28 when it travels to Tulsa, Okla., for the first Summit League Cluster of the season. The 'Roos will battle IUPUI, Western Illinois and IPFW over the course of the weekend.
