Wilmington, N.C. -- The UMKC men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 neutral site decision to Troy State on Thursday morning at the UNCW Tennis Center. The Kangaroos, who are now 6-4 this season, dropped the doubles point and all six singles matches on the day.
Troy opened the match by sweeping past UMKC in doubles. The Trojans' Mario Silva and Branko Weber opened the day with an 8-2 win at the one line over Patrick Smith and Bret Berryman. Troy then secured the point with 8-5 wins at the two and three positions.
