Roo Item -- With her injury keeping her off the court, Wood served in another capacity as the color commentator to T.J. Jackson for all UMKC volleyball games during the 2007 season.
2008 -- Saw action in 11 matches and in 17 sets on the year... finished with eight kills, five service aces, nine digs and four block assists on the year... recorded a career-high five service aces to go along with three kills in the 3-0 win over Morgan State (9/5).
2007 -- Missed the season due to an off-season knee injury... did not see any game action.
2006 -- Played in all 30 matches and in 101-of-103 games on the year... finished the season with 231 kills (2.29 p/game)... had a team-high .259 hitting percentage, which ranked ninth in the Mid-Con... also had a team-best 89 blocks (24 solo/65 assisted) to average .88 per game, which was 10th best in the Mid-Con... had 11 matches with 10 or more kills and had 13 matches with four or more blocks... named to the all-tournament team at the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn/TJ Sales Invitational after finishing with a total of 34 kills and nine blocks in three matches... finished with a career-high 14 kills in back-to-back matches vs. Lamar (9/15) and at South Dakota State (9/16)... had a career-best seven blocks at Centenary (10/14)... named to the Mid-Continent Conference Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2005 -- Appeared in 22 matches... had 30 kills, 17 blocks and nine digs on the season... saw her first career action against UTEP (9/2)... made her first career start vs. IUPUI (10/14), where she tallied five kills... had career-highs in kills (7) and blocks (6) vs. Chicago State (10/15).
High School -- A two-time first-team all-conference performer at Foothills High School in Tustin, Calif... also named second-team all-California Interscholastic Federation twice... in addition to volleyball, was a four-year soccer letterwinner, earning four second-team all-conference nods.
Personal -- Born August 27, 1987... daughter of Brian and Julia Wood... played for Orange County VBC club team... majoring in communication studies.
