2012 -- Appeared in all 19 games, including 18 starts… Registered eight shots, with five placed on-goal… Recorded a season-high two shots in Kansas City’s 1-0 win at IUPUI (9/30)… Currently sits fifth for most matches played (56) and sixth for most minutes played (3981) in UMKC all-time history… Featured in The Summit League’s Scholar-Athlete Spotlight... Named to The Summit League's Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2011 -- Played in 19 games, including 12 starts... took 15 shots, placing three on-goal for a .600 shot-on-goal percentage... named a Distinguished Scholar on The Summit League Fall Academic All-League.
2010 -- Was named to The Summit League all-Freshman squad at the defender position... started in all 18 games... took four shots, placing one of them on-goal... finished with a career-high two shots at Centenary (Oct. 22)... named a Distinguished Scholar and to The Summit League Fall Academic all-League squad.
High School -- As a junior was named to the EKL second team and Kansas Sun Times second team defender... in 2008 the squad was the 6A regional champions... a four-year letterwinner for the soccer team... also lettered in cross country and basketball... coached by Rick Pribyl... a member of the student government, National Honor Society, choir and the Ascension Youth Group... was a three-year EKL Scholar Athlete... on the honor roll.
Personal -- Born on June 8, 1992, in St. Louis, Mo... daughter of Tom and Susan Shaughnessy... has two brothers, Andrew and Brendan and two sisters, Megan and Anna... played club soccer for the KCFC Revolution in 2008 and 2009, where they won the Midwest Regional League Red Division U18 championship and were a State Cup finalist... on the Kansas ODP State team that placed fourth at the ODP National Championship in 2009... majoring in nursing.
