2011 -- Appeared in four games... took two shots, placing one goal for a .500 shot-on-goal percentage... named to The Summit League Fall Academic All-League Team.
2010 -- Played in 18 games as a freshman, earned the starting nod in nine... started in five consecutive games as a defender towards the end of the season... recorded lone assist of the season at Centenary (10/22)... took two shots, tallied one on frame against the Ladies.
High School -- Played high school soccer at Forest Lake High School as a sophomore and junior, closed out senior season at Rosemount High School... was team captain for Forest Lake and team MVP... Rosemount took third in the Lakes Conference... was third on the team as a senior with seven points off of seven assists... coached in high school by Kevin Adams... an academic letterman all four years.
Personal -- Born on Sept. 11, 1992, in Burnsville, Minn... daughter of Tom Shimota and Jo Ann Shimota... has one sister, Gabrielle... played club soccer for Bangu Tsunami for three years, where they were state finalists every year... played for Twin Cities Fire Soccer Club, serving as team captain for one year... club coach was Cameron O'Malley... majoring in biology (pre-med).
