Lizzy Simonin is in her second season as a graduate assistant for the Kangaroo women's soccer program. Hailing from Lee's Summit, Mo., Simonin attended Lee's Summit High School and moved on to the University of Memphis.

Simonin's career accolades as a Tiger includes an All-American selection, C-USA Player of the Year honor, and a Lowe's Senior Class Award winner. Also, she served as a team captain during her junior and senior years. In her final season, the Tigers finished with a 22-1-1 overall record and were ranked as high as third in the nation.

Academically, Simonin excelled in the classroom as she was named to the Dean's List each semester as a Tiger along with receiving Academic All-American honors as a junior and senior.
