2007-08 -- Second Team all-Summit League selection... saw action in 28 games with 24 starts... averaged a team-best 17.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 33.5 minutes per contest for the Kangaroos, also leading the team with 50 steals and an .831 (118-142) mark at the free throw line... shot .376 (160-425) from the floor and .310 (54-174) from three-point range on the year... was held to fewer than 10 points in just two games on the season... jumped out of the gates with a 24-point, eight-rebound performance at Central Arkansas (11/9), to go along with a career-best five steals... recorded a career-best 30 points against Texas State (12/3), pulling down eight rebounds and handing out four assists as well, recording two blocks on the night... missed just one free throw (10-of-11) in a 24-point outing at South Dakota State (1/21)... fell just shy of her second career double-double against Oral Roberts (1/28) with 21 points and nine rebounds on the night, adding four steals and three assists... handed out a career-high six assists at Centenary (2/25) in a 18-point, six-rebound effort... recorded a career-high four blocks in UMKC’s quarterfinal upset of Western Illinois in The Summit League Championships, adding 15 points and four rebounds... received UMKC’s Circle of Champions Award, which is given to the best overall student-athlete based solely on the individual’s athletic performance.
2006-07 -- Played in all 30 games as a true freshman, starting in 21 appearances... ranked third on the team in scoring, averaging 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game... was named the Mid-Con Newcomer of the Year, becoming the second Kangaroo in as many seasons to earn the honor, and was also selected to the Mid-Con all-Newcomer team... opened the season with a solid outing against Northern Colorado, missing just one of her eight shot attempts (6-7 fg, 4-5 3fg, 1-1 ft) on the night en route to a 17-point outburst... registered her first career double-double at Oklahoma Christian, scoring 14 points and hauling in 10 rebounds... was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw stripe against Chicago State, scoring nine points... led the team with 21 points and nine rebounds in the Mid-Con Championship game against Oral Roberts... recipient of the Jim and Sally Job Award, which is presented annually to a promising student-athlete... also the presented the Dutton Brookfield Award, which is given to a talented student-athlete that demonstrates great potential for the future.
High School -- Finished her high school career at Piedmont High School, leading her team to a 35-2 overall record and the California state championship... averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 4.0 assists per game at Piedmont... was a unanimous BSAL all-League selection as a senior... as a freshman and sophomore, played at El Cerrito High school, earning an honorable mention ACCAL all-League nod... was also named the Oakland Times Athlete of the Week and the West County Times Athlete of the Week... chosen to the all-tournament teams at the Lady Cat Classic in 2004-05, and the West Coast Jamboree and the Reno Shootout in both 2002-03 and 2003-04.
Personal -- Chazny Morris is the daughter of Charles and Rosalyn Morris... has two sisters, Casey (19) and Cheri (17)... sister Casey currently plays basketball at Texas Tech... is majoring in communications studies.
