While at Boise State, Snyder served as a senior staff member for the Compliance Department. He was responsible for all compliance operations and efforts. He began his appointment with the Cyclones in 2003 as the Director of Compliance and moved up the ranks to be named an Assistant Athletics Director in two years.
In 2006, Snyder was promoted to Associate Athletics Director, a position he held for four years. Snyder got his professional start at the University of South Dakota in 2001 as the Assistant Athletics Director and was promoted to Associate Athletics Director after one year. Also while at South Dakota, Snyder served as a Professor of The Legal Environment of Business.
Snyder received a bachelor’s of science in exercise and sports sciences from Iowa State University in 1995. He went on to graduate Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Law in 2001, ranking in the top-15 in his class. Snyder was admitted to practice before all Nebraska state and federal courts.
He has served on multiple NAAC Committee’s and presented at several NCAA Regional Rules Seminars. While at Creighton, Snyder received two American Jurisprudence Awards for finishing first in his class in a course, was on the Editorial Staff and was a published author.
