As a senior, was named team captain and earned honorable mention honors for a second time... Played for the Nebraska Gold traveling softball squad for nine years... Particpated in basketball, playing the guard spot for two seasons.
Personal -- Born June 3, 1994 in Burnsville, Minn... Daughter of Todd and Sandy Petersen... Sister to Marlee, who plays softball at South Dakota State, and Abby... Majoring studio art.
