Natalie Brock became the 'Roos softball assistant coach in June of 2012
A Brentwood, Tenn., native, Brock played two seasons of softball at the University of Tennessee. During her tenure, the Lady Vols won a Southeastern Conference Championship and made back-to-back Women's College World Series appearances.
Her coaching career began in 2009 when she served as the head softball coach at the Battle Ground Academy. She moved on to the University of Mary after one year, serving two seasons as a graduate assistant coach. She holds a master's degree in education.
At the University of Mary, Brock worked with the pitchers and catchers on a day-to-day basis and was in charge of calling the pitches during games. Under her tutelage the pitching staff showed great improvement between the 2011 and 2012 seasons with a drop in earned run average of over 1.00. Her pitching staff earned a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week awards in her two seasons.
Brock served as an assistant coach at Texas A&M - Kingsville from 2012-'13.
Brock’s playing career began at Ezell-Harding Christian School where she was a two-time all-state honoree and a member of two state championship squads. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in communication studies.
