Summer of 2006 -- Tied for fourth place at the Kansas City, Mo., qualifier for the U.S. Amateur with rounds of 72-71=143... the fourth place finished earned him the First Alternate spot for the U.S. Amateur... also was the co-medalist at the Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship with rounds of 67-70=137... won his first round match in 19 holes before falling in the second round 1-up... also tied for 13th at the Kansas City Amateur with rounds of 73-75-74=222.
2005-06 -- Redshirted and did not see any action.
At Drake University -- Posted a 75.2 scoring average in 11 tournaments... had four top-15 finishes, which included a fourth place finish at the Wyoming Classic and a win at The Intercollegiate at Diablo Grande.
High School -- Three-year letterwinner at St. Thomas Aquinas High School... 2003 Collegiate Preview Series Points Champion... 2004 Kansas Junior Player of the Year... ranked as high as No. 44 in the Golfweek Junior Rankings in 2004.
