2012-13 -- Joined the team in January as a walk-on, making an immediate impact... He started his first game after practicing for only eight days... Played the final minute of a game against NDSU (1/5), before being forced into the starting point guard role against Utah Valley (1/9) due to injuries... He responded with eight points and five assists in 32 minutes of action... He started the next eight consecutive games, and played in 17 contests the rest of the year.
Before UMKC -- Played in 2010-11 at Johnson County Community College, after transferring from Independence Community College... He played at each school for a season.
High School -- Attended Blue Valley Northwest High School, playing for head coach Ed Fritz... He lettered all four years there, earning All-EKL honors during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... As a sophomore he also earned All-Johnson County... Led the team to state as a junior, and as a senior he put up 11 points, 3 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game... Also earned Academic Honor Roll in 2008... Played his AAU basketball for the KC Cowboys and head coach Victor Williams.
Personal -- Born February 9, 1991 in Kansas City, Kansas... The son of Angelita Williams and Bill Washington... Has two siblings, Amara and Tori.
