Kansas City Sits Seventh After Day One in Michigan

BARK RIVER, Mich. - The Kansas City Roos Men's Golf Team opened the season today in Michigan at the Island Resort Intercollegiate.
Kansas City, after two rounds of action sit in seventh place at one over after shooting an opening round two over and going one under as a team in the second set of 18 holes.
Chance Rinkol, a transfer from Iowa, shot a 75(+3) & a 68(-4) and is one under, sitting in a tie for 19th heading into tomorrow's final round.
Junior Harry Bent & Freshman Leon Heeder are both tied for 28th at one-over par after rounds of 72 & 73.
Filiph Dock shot a 71(-1) in the opening round and is tied for 43rd after day 1, while Jack Spencer is five-over through 36 holes.Â
The Roos are four shots ahead of Summit League foes South Dakota State, who are also the hosts of the tournament.Â
The final round tees off tomorrow, with the final pairings & tee times currently TBD.
