KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball has officially welcomed Elliot Moskowitz to the program, as was announced this afternoon. Moskowitz, a 6'5 guard from Superior, Colo., will join the Roos as an incoming freshman in 2026-27.
"I chose Kansas City because I already had strong relationships with a couple of the assistants, plus knowing Coach Turgeon's resume made it feel like a perfect fit," Moskowitz said.
Moskowitz attended high school at Colorado Prep and played club ball for the Colorado Roughriders, both coached by his father, Mike Moskowitz. The three-star recruit is the fourth-rated high school recruit in Colorado and the 37th ranked combo guard in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
After battling back from an injury in his junior campaign, his senior season saw Moskowitz earn All-League honors in the Border League, Grind Session and NSPA League, along with a top-20 performer honor at the Tarkanian Classic. Throughout Grind Session he averaged 17.2 points, 5.3 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game, and in NSPA he averaged 18.3 points, 4.5 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game.
As a sophomore, Moskowitz averaged 16.0 points, 5.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in Grind Session play, earning All-Underclassman honors amongst a group of four other consensus top-150 recruits. He also earned First Team All-EIBC honors and was named player of the week three times, averaging 18.9 points, 5.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game with a league-leading 48% three-point percentage.
Moskowitz made a splash his freshman season at Fairview High School, averaging 16 points per game and earning First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-State mentions.
Born on Dec. 31, 2006 in Gunnison, Colo., Elliot is the son of Mike and Katie Moskowitz. His brother Miles is currently a redshirt sophomore at Highlands Community College.
