Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City aims to even the season series with South Dakota at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday evening. Last time out, the Roos suffered a 58-68 loss to North Dakota in the Swinney Center. Elauni Bennett posted her seventh double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Fighting Hawks.Â
- Last time Kansas City was on the road in the Summit League, the Roos held on to win a 60-59 contest over Omaha, completing a season sweep of the Mavericks in the process. Emani Bennett finished with 17 points and scored the go-ahead basket with four seconds left that became the KC's game-winner. Â

- South Dakota heads into Thursday night's contest sitting at 19-6 overall while holding a 9-2 record in Summit action. The Coyotes have won the last four conference game and eight of their last nine.Â
- South Dakota is 10-2 at home this season and 4-0 against the Roos at home in the all-time series. USD holds a 13-4 record against KC dating back to 1991.Â
- Last time the Coyotes and Roos played, USD defeated KC 67-47 to get their first win at the Swinney Center since 2024. Molly Joyce led South Dakota in scoring with 21 points on 50% (7-14) shooting from the floor.Â
