Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City Men's Basketball is back on the road to take on Oral Roberts this Thursday for the first game of the season series with the Golden Eagles. KC's lone Summit League win of the season thus far came on the road at Omaha on Jan. 3.
- Chris Dockery was the star of the Roos' most recent outing against South Dakota, going for a career-high 17 points along with a team-best eight rebounds. Dockery has scored in double digits seven times this season, including three times in the past six games to bring his season average up to 6.8 points per game.
- CJ Evans dished out a team-high four assists against the Coyotes, the 17th time this season that he has led the team in assists and the second-straight game. Evans is averaging 4.0 assists per game on the season, ranking third in the Summit and 161st in the NCAA.
- Babacar Mbengue made the first start of his collegiate career against South Dakota, going for three rebounds and a career-best five blocks. He has gone for four-plus blocks in two of the last three games and is averaging 7.9 blocks per 40 minutes since Dec. 28.
- The Roos shot 50% from the field against the Coyotes, the third time this year that Kansas City has hit at least half of its field goal attempts. This was aided by the inside play of Dockery and Jerome Palm, who combined to go 14-of-20 from the field.
