Roos Head to Fargo Seeking Season Sweep of Bison
FARGO, N.D. — Kansas City volleyball heads north to face North Dakota State, looking to secure its second season sweep of a Summit League opponent this year.
The Roos (10-10, 4-4 Summit) aim to move back above .500 in conference play as the race for postseason positioning tightens. Kansas City enters the matchup fifth in the league standings, one game ahead of sixth-place North Dakota State and three games behind league leader South Dakota (7-1).
With four wins separating first and sixth place, the Roos have an opportunity to gain ground down the stretch. Kansas City has one matchup remaining against each of the four teams ahead of it in the standings, giving the Roos a chance to directly influence their postseason seed.
A victory in Fargo would complete the season sweep of the Bison and strengthen Kansas City's position in the chase for a berth in the Summit League Championship, hosted by South Dakota State.
