- The Roos are coming off a 2-2 draw with Northern Colorado to close the non-conference slate, heading into the Summit League schedule with a 5-4-1 record. Kansas City has put together back-to-back records above .500 in out-of-league play, a first since the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
- Delfina Zolesio scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season against the Bears, putting her at 30th in the nation in goals per game (0.7). She is the first Kansas City player to score more than six goals in a season since Rylan Childers and Lindsey Prokop in 2019.
- Olivia Platt added a goal against UNC, her third goal of the year and her first non-penalty kick. She is tied for the team lead with three assists and has nine total points on the season.
- Through the first 10 matches of the season, the Roos are among the nation's best in scoring offense. Kansas City averages 2.10 goals per game, ranking 56th in the NCAA and fourth in the Summit League.
