The Roos were led by Jamar Brown's 17-point showing
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Basketball (11-17, 3-10 Summit) was unable to overcome the second-place team in the Summit League this evening, falling to Omaha (17-12, 11-3 Summit), 78-66. A late first half run allowed the Mavericks to create separation from the Roos and KC's second half comeback attempts were not enough to overcome UNO's efficient offense.
Jamar Brown led the Roos with 17 points on the night, shooting 5-of-10 from the field and 2-of-3 from three-point range. Babacar Diallo and Melvyn Ebonkoli followed with 13 points each, representing the only other KC players to reach double digits.
