The junior guard was named to the Preseason All-Summit League First Team and showed why with a breakout night against the Jayhawks. Bennett's 29 point outing is the junior's second highest career scoring total behind a 30 point outburst last season against Omaha.Â

- Kansas City met with William Jewell in last year's home opener as the Roos took care of business, beating the Cardinals 74-32 en-route to their second largest margin of victory in the 2024-25 season behind a 103-49 beatdown over Westminster in late December.Â
- For William Jewell, Saturday afternoon's matchup will be an exhibition game. The Cardinals begin their season on November 18 against Wayne State in the Mabee Center.Â
- Last season, the Cardinals went 8-18 overall including a 6-14 record in conference play. William Jewell ended the season on a three game win streak, staging an 18 point comeback victory to take down Truman State 70-69 in their final game of the regular season.Â
- William Jewell has a very young roster as 11 of the 13 players on their 2025-26 card are underclassmen, including six freshman.Â
- The Cardinals are led by first year Head Coach Jenni Croy. In her time at North Central Missouri, Croy led the Pirates to over 320 wins and seven Region XVI championships.Â
