
Kansas City Softball 2025 Schedule Released

The Roos will host 16 games throughout the year, including three series against Summit League opponents
KANSAS CITY - The 2025 slate for Kansas City Softball has officially been announced, with the Roos hosting 16 games throughout the year at Urban Youth Academy. Under the direction of third-year Head Coach Kiki Stokes O'Connor, KC will look to improve upon last year's 23-31 record and fourth-place finish in the Summit League.
The Roos open up the season on the road with four-straight invitationals, starting at New Mexico State from Feb. 7-9. Kansas City will also play at UNLV, McNeese State and Tulsa/Oklahoma to close out the month of February.
Following a stand-alone game at Missouri on Mar. 4, the Roos will open up their home slate by hosting Wichita State at 4 p.m. on Mar. 5. The Kansas City Roos Invitational will be hosted from Mar. 7-9, welcoming Drake and St. Thomas to town.
KC will host SIUE for a doubleheader on Mar. 13 and travel to Creighton on Mar. 19 before opening Summit League play at home on Mar. 22 & 23 against North Dakota State.
The Roos host two more Summit League series throughout the season, welcoming South Dakota State to town on Mar. 29 & 30 before hosting Omaha on Apr. 12 & 13.
Two more stand-alone games cap off the Roos' home schedule, hosting Kansas on Apr. 23 and Tulsa on Apr. 30.Â
Kansas City will look to Brookings, S.D. from May 7-10, looking to bring home a Summit League title and qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
