Sibbing and Brown combine for a clean sheet and three Roos score
ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Kansas City Women's Soccer (2-0-2) brought the heat, defeating Lindenwood (2-2), 3-0, in sweltering temperatures. The Roos jumped to an early lead and never looked back, landing nine shots on frame against the Lions. Set pieces were critical in Kansas City's success, helping generate both first-half goals. Madison Page found the back of the net on a corner kick and Sophia Limongi replicated on a free kick. Limongi led the team in shots on goal with three and Page finished just behind with two.
The Roos kept the energy up in the second half, with Lily Hollis' goal coming three minutes into play. Kansas City's bench was another difference-maker in the matchup, documenting two goals. In her second career start for the Roos, Maddie Sibbing was relentless, logging three massive saves in 75 minutes. Audrey Brown helped secure the clean sheet for Kansas City, earning her first save as a Roo in the 88th minute.
