Kansas City was led by Mesa Falleur's eighth-place finish
AUSTIN, Texas - Kansas City Men's Golf's season came to a close with its seventh NCAA Regional appearance in program history this week, finishing 11th out of 13 teams with a score of 28-over. The Roos exceeded their seeding expectations, finishing higher than San Jose State and Grand Canyon, despite entering the tournament with the lowest seed.
Mesa Falleur proved he belonged among the best in the college game, finishing alone in eighth place with a 3-under, 210 score. Falleur made a jump in the final round, going from a tie for 20th to eighth by carding a 68 on Wednesday.Â

Kansas City finished the year successfully, earning its seventh conference title in program history and its second in as many years, all of which have come under Head Coach J.W. VanDenBorn. Falleur became the seventh player to ever win an individual conference title, notching First Team All-Summit League and Summit League Championship MVP honors. Dutartre was named Second Team All-League and All-Tournament team, while Cooper earned an Honorable Mention nod and All-Tournament team accolades. All of Kansas City's players will have eligibility remaining entering the 2024-25 year.
