Dutartre Earns Second Career Summit Peak Performer Honor

Lucas Dutartre finished third in Iowa City, bringing home the Summit weekly award
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Lucas Dutartre was named the Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week, it was announced by the league today. Dutartre brought home a tie for third-place finish from the Hawkeye Invitational this weekend, his third top-10 finish of the season and his second in-a-row. In addition, it is his first top-five finish this year.
Dutartre started hot in the first round in Iowa City, shooting a 3-under 68. Following his second-round 72, he finished the weekend with his best round of the tournament, firing off a 4-under 67 to finish 6-under and tied for third place. His final round 67 was tied for the fourth-best round on the weekend. He was one of the best in the field at carding birdies, finishing with 16, the second-most of any competitor. In addition, he ranked top-20 among the field in scoring on par-three, four and five holes.Â
This marks the second time in his career that Dutartre has won Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors, the first coming on March 3 of last year after a seventh-place finish at the Lake Las Vegas Invite. Dutartre and the Roos wrap up the regular season this weekend at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
