CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball (4-5) dropped a decision at the hands of SEMO (3-4) this evening, 80-59. The Roos fell behind early and could not mount a comeback, shooting 29.8% from the field on the game. Anderson Kopp provided a bright spot for Kansas City, going for 27 points on 7-of-15 shooting.

Kopp's 27-point performance is the most by a Roo this season and surpasses his previous career-high of 24. He went 10-of-10 from the charity stripe, becoming the first KC player since Shemarri Allen on Nov. 29, 2022 to go perfect from the line with at least 10 attempts.
Ring Nyeri provided some valuable playing time for the Roos, going for a team-high seven rebounds in 14 minutes.
In KC's four wins this season, the team is shooting at a 54.1% from the field compared to a 33.2% clip in five losses.
