Tennis Loses a Pair in Nebraska

KC went against top competition, falling to Wyoming and Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. - Kansas City Tennis played a pair of matches to the north this weekend, falling to both Wyoming and Nebraska. The losses drop the Roos to a 4-9 record on the season.
KC began by falling to Wyoming, dropping the doubles point to begin things off. In singles play, Laura Munoz-Baroja was the lone KC player to take a set, falling in a third-set tiebreaker.
In doubles play against the Huskers, KC's Joanna Cardona and Kate Miley had an advantage at the No. 2 spot, but the Huskers took the point before play could be finished. From there, Nebraska handled the singles competition.
