
Kansas City Falls to Clemson and FIU at Felsberg Invitational

The Roos put up a fight against FIU sending the game to extra innings following a loss to CU
MIAMI, Fla. – Kansas City (1-3) suffered a loss to No. 10 Clemson (3-0) but held the Tigers to their lowest scoring game in the tournament thus far 8-1. After the loss in the morning, the Roos came back strong, taking an early lead over FIU, but later losing 5-4 in extra innings. Seven strikeouts from Stickel in the circle, and a couple of RBIs were not enough for the Roos to end up on top.

- Top 1 / 1 – 0 | A single to right field from Lexy Smith brought home Kiki McCrea who was walked to first. McCrea was put into scoring position on a bunt a from Sydney Nichols.
