Men's Soccer Travels to Tulsa for Meeting with Golden Eagles

The Roos will take on Oral Roberts tomorrow at 7 p.m.
Kansas City Notes
- For the first time this season, Kansas City Men's Soccer has lost in back-to-back matches. The Roos. will look to return to winning ways against Oral Roberts on Saturday afternoon in Tulsa.
- Kansas City's most recent defeat came at the hands of Denver last Saturday in a game which saw the Roos attempt 15 more shots than the Pioneers. The lone goal of the game came on a penalty kick in the 11th minute.
- Robin Balters was called into action for the second game this season and has maintained a 1.0 goals against average across both of his starts. He also made two saves against Denver, the first of his career.
- Julien Le Bourdoulous ranks among the tops in the league in multiple offensive categories. His average of 0.36 assists per game is third in the Summit and 96th in the nation. He also attempts 3.36 shots per game, ranking 3rd in the league and 23rd in the nation.
- As a team, Kansas City ranks third in the Summit, averaging 11.55 shots per game. However, KC converts for an average of 1.18 goals per game, ranking fourth in the league.
- The Roos have five freshman that have contributed significant playing time throughout the season. Brevyn Cole (910), Miguel Fernandez (805), Mael Caisson (703), Hector Taboada (657) and Brice Middleton (550) have all notched over 500 minutes of playing time on the season. In total, first years have accounted for 3,674 minutes played.
Oral Roberts NotesÂ
- Oral Roberts enters Saturday's match having gone 2-0-1 in its last three matchups. The Golden Eagles are the first team outside of the United Soccer Coaches' Top-25.
- The all-time series between these two teams has been fairly even, with ORU holding a slight 15-14-5 advantage in the series.
- These two teams met in the Summit League Semifinals last season. After the Golden Eagles tied the match with a furious late-game comeback, Arne Neufang scored on a free kick in overtime to clinch victory for KC, 3-2.
- Luis Flores is the reigning Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, scoring twice in ORU's win over Omaha. On the season, he has scored a league-leading nine goals.
