FARGO, N.D. - Kansas City Men's Basketball (8-13, 4-4 Summit) used big plays by freshmen late in the game, escaping with a 75-73 win over North Dakota State (8-13, 5-4 Summit) this afternoon. As the game came down to the wire, it was Precious C. Idiaru and Jevin Sullivan that helped secure the win.

COACH MARVIN MENZIES, QUOTED
Â
"It feels good to get a win, it feels good to win after a tough loss … Our mantra was to be tougher than we were last game. We knew by halftime that they had responded."
"(NDSU) is a tough place to play. They've got a heck of an environment, the place had a lot of people. Thank God we were able to create some silent cheers, because we never let the crowd get into it fully."
