The Roos open conference play at St. Thomas and Western Illinois
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Â After earning a pair of results to end the non-conference season, Kansas City Women's Soccer will look to open up Summit League play on the same note, taking on St. Thomas and Western Illinois.
Kansas City Notes
- The Roos earned their first win of the season last Friday, a 1-0 victory over Chicago State, with Lily Stedman scoring the 76th minute winner.
- KC managed 15 shots in the win, a season-high. In draws, the Roos average 7.0 shots per game. In losses, KC has attempted just 4.5 shots per contest.
- Stedman and Madison Page are the Roos' lone goal-scorers on the season, each tallying two scores so far.
- Anna Jennings leads Kansas City in both shots and shots on goal, notching 12 and eight, respectively.
- The Roos were selected for a sixth-place league finish in the preseason coaches' poll, which would be on-par with their finish last year.

- The Roos and Tommies have two opponents in common: Drake and Chicago State. Both sides defeated CSU, 1-0, while the Roos fell to Drake and UST defeated the Bulldogs.
- Six different Tommies have scored a goal on the season, but only Camryn Rintoul has multiple goals, logging three.
Western Illinois Notes
- Western Illinois ends non-conference play with a 2-3-3 record, and will take on Oral Roberts before Sunday's meeting.
- Amy Andrews is one of the league's top offensive threats, ranking top-three in goals per game, points per game, shot accuracy, shots per game and shots on goal per game.
- The Leathernecks have already posted four shutouts this year, against IUPUI, Milwaukee, Northern Illinois and Eastern Illinois.
