Stickel threw complete game with seven strikeouts
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Kansas City Softball (3-12) dropped both games in the opening day of the Razorback Rumble. Missouri State (4-9) used a two-run long ball to overcome the Roos in a pitchers' duel, 3-1. Then No.11 Arkansas (12-4) powered up their offense to run-rule KC 12-1 after five innings.

Kansas City will play two more games tomorrow in Fayetteville. The Roos will get a second stab at Missouri State at 10 a.m., followed by the first-ever meeting with Kennesaw State at 12:30 p.m.

- Freshman Reid was the only other Roo to record a hit in the game.
