FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Kansas City Softball (3-12) dropped both games in the opening day of the Razorback Rumble. Missouri State (4-9) used a two-run long ball to overcome the Roos in a pitchers' duel, 3-1. Then No.11 Arkansas (12-4) powered up their offense to run-rule KC 12-1 after five innings.

Vonfeldt has hit a double for the third straight game and has a hit in six of the Roos' last seven games.
Denning was a perfect pinch hitter on the day, getting hits in each of her plate appearances in both games.
Freshman Reid was the only other Roo to record a hit in the game.
