
Women's Soccer Signs Transfer Riley Moore

Moore is a goalkeeper from Bowling Green State
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Soccer Head Coach Jess Smith has announced the signing of transfer Riley Moore, who will join the Roos in Fall 2022. The redshirt sophomore goalkeeper brings experience with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and will look to make an immediate impact with her shot stopping ability.
"We are thrilled to add Riley to our team for the fall. She will elevate our goalkeeping group immediately with her competitive mentality, shot stopping ability and consistent play with her feet," Head Coach Jess Smith said. "Aside from her strong attributes as a goalkeeper, she will be a leader in our program on and off the field. We can't wait to see the impact she has on our program."

2021 (Bowling Green): Made her collegiate debut in the final ten minutes of the season opener at Notre Dame … Played in four matches, combining for 62 total minutes … Combined for two shutouts against Oakland and Akron … Made her first collegiate save in the win over Oakland… Earned her second save against Akron to complete a clean sheet … Went 4-0 in matches she played in.
2020 (Bowling Green):Â Redshirt Season.
High School:Â Attended Linden High School but did not play high school soccer due to club-team commitments with the Michigan Hawks ECNL and the U.S. Soccer National Development Academy.
Personal: Born in Flint, MI … Daughter of P.J. and Stacey Moore … Has played club soccer for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy since 2018 where she helped her team to a national quarterfinal berth in 2019 … Was a U.S. National Training Center Invitee … Won a pair of State Cup championships … Intends to major in Business at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
