
Bradley’s Clutch Threes Carry Roos Past Leathernecks in OT Thriller

Naomie Alnatas finished with her first-career triple-double in the win
MACOMB, Ill. – Kansas City Women's Basketball (18-5, 8-4) won an overtime thriller to complete the regular season sweep of Western Illinois (12-10, 3-8) today, finishing the road trip with an 87-85 victory. The Roos overcame an 11-point fourth quarter deficit when Kiara Bradley hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to send the game into overtime. Bradley finished with her first 20-point game in a Kansas City uniform, topped off by another clutch shot from beyond the arc to secure the game in overtime. Naomie Alnatas' first-career triple-double also played a huge part in Kansas City's comeback victory, finishing with 29 points, a career-high 11 assists and 11 rebounds.

- OT / 86-84 | Bradley hit another clutch three in overtime to put the Roos ahead for the first time since the first quarter, where they would stay for the rest of the game.
STATS TO NOTE
- Both teams shot over 40% from the field and combined for 30 three-pointers on the day.
- Alnatas' triple-double is the first by a Roo since Ericka Mattingly on Feb. 9, 2019 against California Baptist. She becomes the 23rd player in the nation to earn a triple-double this season and the first Summit League player to get a triple-double since the 2017-18 season.
- Alnatas' 29 points is the first back-to-back 29-plus-point performance by a Roo since Eilise O'Connor in 2013-14.
- Bradley neared a double-double with 20 points, eight rebounds and an assist. She became the third Roo to hit the 20-point mark this season.
- Bradford finished with her second double-double of the year, ending with a season-high 17 points and 14 rebounds. This performance was the most rebounds in a double-double since Cristina Soriano on Feb. 6, 2020 against UTRGV.
- The Roos finished with a season-high 14 three-pointers, knocking down at a 41.2% clip from beyond the arc.
- Kansas City has won four of their last five overtime games.
