WBB Looks to Extend Hot Streak at Swinney

The Roos host Oral Roberts on Saturday at 2 p.m. and St. Thomas on Monday at 1 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Riding a five-game winning streak, the second-longest of the season, Kansas City Women's Basketball welcomes Oral Roberts and St. Thomas to the Swinney Center.

- After receiving votes for the past 10 weeks, the Roos finally snuck into the collegeinsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top-25 poll at the No. 25 spot. KC joins fellow Summit League members South Dakota (No. 7) and South Dakota State (No. 10) in the poll.
- Head Coach Jacie Hoyt was named the WHoopDirt.com Division One Coach of the Week for the Roos' three come-from-behind victories last week. She is now eligible for the site's Coach of the Year award at the conclusion of the season.
- Naomie Alnatas has won back-to-back Summit League Player of the Week awards, bringing the Roos' season total to five. It is the most weekly awards won by the team since the 2012-13 squad also notched five.
- The Roos came back from a 16-point third quarter deficit against Western Illinois to defeat the Leathernecks in overtime on Saturday. It is the second time in as many years that the Roos have overcome a 15-point second half deficit (North Dakota, 1/2/21).
- Kiara Bradley has been an energy boost for the Roos this season, averaging a league-high 35.13 minutes per game. Across the Roos' last four contests, she has not left the floor, playing 170-straight minutes. In that span, she has averaged 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
