TULSA, Okla. - Kansas City Women's Soccer claimed an early lead but were unable to hold on against Oral Roberts this afternoon, falling 3-1. Lily Stedman scored her third goal of the season in the loss, which is tied for the team lead.
KEY MOMENTS
- 7' / 0-0 |Â A Golden Eagle throw-in near the goal made it's way into the box. ORU's first shot attempt was blocked away by Caijah Anderson, and the second attempt went straight for the upper-left corner of the goal, but Riley Moore was in the perfect position and punched it away.
- 20' / 1-0 | Kayda Kamolz stepped in for a tackle, sparking a Kansas City counter attack. Kamolz found Madison Page up the left sideline, who made her way into the attacking third, drawing the Golden Eagles' attention. Stedman found a gap in the back line, taking a pass from Page and sending it into the back of the net.
