Evan Gilyard II notched his third 30-point game of the year to lead the Roos to their second-straight win
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball (10-8, 4-3) used a second half run to earn a win for the second game in a row this evening, defeating North Dakota (4-16, 0-7), 79-74. Evan Gilyard II dropped a game-high 30 points, knocking down nine field goals for his third 30-point performance of the season.

- 2H / 50-45 | After a back-and-forth start to the second half, Kopp nailed a three-pointer on an assist by Lamar, sparking a 13-point Kansas City run. On the very next possession, Shemarri Allen threw down a monstrous dunk over a UND defender.

- 2H / 58-45 | After the Roos forced a North Dakota shot clock violation, Allen found Kopp wide open in the corner to cap the run off.

STATS TO NOTE
- Gilyard II scored 30 points for the third time this season, also tacking on four assists. Gilyard is the first Roo to drop three 30-point games in a season since Jay Couisnard in 2010-11.
- The Roos committed fewer turnovers than their opponent for the eighth consecutive game, committing just ten and forcing 14.Â
- Kansas City led for nearly the entire game, having the edge for more than 38 of the 40 minutes.Â
- Lamar stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with ten points, nine rebounds, three blocks, three steals, and two assists. His three blocks were the most by a Roo in a game this season.
- Nesbitt scored in double-figures for the fifth time in the last six games and was one of four Roos with ten-or-more points. Â
