COACH CHRISTI POSEY, QUOTED
- "We needed to get back into a good place. We challenged them to be aggressive, hungrier, confident and just to fight harder. (The first set) was a great response to see."
- "We had a good serving plan and we were aggressive. We eliminated some attackers through our serve. We were better defensively, more alert and more aware."
- "We always want to put pressure on teams with our serve. If I'm asking them to be aggressive we have to live with a little bit of error, but I think we're getting into more of a rhythm."
- "I thought tonight was a good response from Bree after struggling against Denver. She got into a rhythm tonight, made some smart shots and helped us. All of our outsides need to always be ready because their name could be called and they need to be ready to perform."
UP NEXT
The Roos remain in town for a matchup with South Dakota on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Roos and Coyotes went to five sets three times last season, with the Roos winning two of the three matches.
