
Roos Win Streak Continues in Victory over Bradley

The Roos now have a four match win streak and are 2-0 in conference
Kansas City Tennis earns their fourth consecutive victory after clinching the win over Bradley University.
"The team came out ready to play and had tons of momentum!" commented Head Coach Kendell Hale.
The Roos stepped on the court ready to battle against Bradley in doubles action. Keeping the momentum after their previous doubles success against Western Illinois, Yana Grechkina and Michela Xibilia won in the first doubles spot 6-2. Riddhi Sharma and Anastassiya Timofeyeva would fight their way to a thrilling tiebreaker win 7-6 (5) to earn the Roos the doubles point.
Inspired by the excitement of the doubles win, the Roos entered singles play with competitive force. Many back and forth skirmishes highlighted numerous Roos ability to stay focused through their challenging sets. Thanushree Vale dominated in two sets with a 6-1 and 6-2 score. Michela Xibilia kept persistent and also finished in the win column 6-4 and 6-3. Then in the final spot down in the first set, Anastassiya Timofeyeva battled back to win her match with a second set score 6-1 and third set 6-2. Â
"Big wins in doubles at the one and three spots gave us the important point. It really was a great team win today," said Head Coach Kendell Hale.
