Josiah Allick paced the Roos, scoring 12 points and pulling down nine boards
JONESBORO, Ark. - Kansas City Men's Basketball had trouble stopping a potent Arkansas State offense this afternoon, falling to the Red Wolves, 66-55. Josiah Allick was the only Roo to finish in double-figures, logging 12 points and nine rebounds on the day.
KEY MOMENTS
- 1H / 10-10 | A pair of Caden Boser free throws after the second media timeout tied the game up and capped a six-point KC run.
- 1H / 19-18 | Anderson Kopp knocked down a three-pointer, and while the shot was in the air, Evan Gilyard II drew a foul underneath the basket. Gilyard knocked down a pair of free shots for a five-point possession, giving the Roos their first lead of the game.
- 1H / 26-25 | Shemarri Allen created havoc on the defensive end, leading to a fast break layup for Jacob Johnson, giving KC its final lead of the contest.
- 2H / 36-50 | Allick knocked down a turnaround jumper in the paint, putting an end to an 11-point Arkansas State run.
